The Association of International Automobile Manufacturers, Inc. (AIAM) represents international motor vehicle manufacturers, original equipment suppliers and other automotive-related trade associations. AIAM provides members with information, analysis and advocacy on a wide variety of legislative and regulatory issues impacting the auto sector.The mission of AIAM is to protect and promote the unique interests of international automakers and their suppliers in the United States. AIAM is dedicated to the promotion of free trade and to policies that enhance motor vehicle safety and the protection of the environment.

AIAM members were the first to offer vehicles meeting California's super-ultra-low-emission vehicle standards and the first to certify hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. In addition, AIAM member companies are consistently at the top of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) annual top 10 vehicles for best fuel economy.

AIAM is the voice of international automobile manufacturers in Washington, D.C. and in state capitols around the country.
